Week 4

On Monday Collin woke with a fever...we rushed to Primary Children's medical center where we expected a round of antibiotics to watch and wait. Instead Collin was admitted to stay while we cultured to find the source of the infection. His fever spiked quite high and we were grateful to have him on IV antibiotics. More days of waiting with no real answers. His fever continued all week to some degree. He had another round of transfusions. He had a CT scan looking for any infections in the lungs. All looked normal. Many tests and tons of blood draws later he was released, on the following Monday.
